History

Huxley Bertram was founded in 1979 by two Cambridge University Engineering graduates.  We moved to the Brookfield Centre in 1983 and now operate out of 3 units.  Having been in business for almost 30 years, and supplying over 1000 solutions our machines are operating in Europe, North and South America and Asia. Over that time we have built up an excellent track record and reputation for innovative and reliable special purpose machines with many of our customers coming back to us for repeats and new turn key solutions.  Even when one of our customers was bought out by a multinational Pharmaceutical Huxley Bertram continued to be their special purpose machine builder by choice. 

As a testimony to our special purpose machine building expertise we recently broke into the laser printing market by building automation for a key US player and had it installed in Japan.  As our market place changes and new technologies emerge our thinking broadens and our ability grows to meet the engineering and automation challenges.  With a stable and solid foundation we are excited about the future and looking forward to building more successful special purpose machines.
